Hey everyone. I saw some of The Simple Life last night. It made me wonder how desperate we are for entertainment. This reality TV is getting way out of hand. That, in my opinion, is a stupid show and a stupid concept and is on television only for sighted guys to look at Paris and Nicole. Comments?
Yup at this rate we need a Reality Show Channel so all this trash they call entertainment goes onto that channel. I don't get into that kind of stuff. I mean all it basically is: wearing skimpy clothing, swearing (which is bleeped out), trying to be "all that", ratings, bad mouthing each other, trying to out last one another etc. Not to mention when it comes time for those who get the boot who don't make it to the final 4 or 2 get real upset. I mean it's a game for cryin out loud act your age.
As for the simple life: I find some of it amusing...they're really dumb and yet it's OK because they've got money
It's a game for crying outloud. That's a good piece of advice to go on all these anagram cheaters boards. I always thaught this reallity TV stuff was pretty dumb, but thaught it must be something the sighted like to pay atention to. Speaking of bleaping "bad words" on TV, I think that entire concept is pretty stupid. I mean, if kids don't hear this stuff on TV, they'll just hear it in school or on the street or probably even from their parents.
I agree. I heard the word fuck when I was in grade 1 and have been a fan of it ever since, but I haven't gone and broken too many rules.
I watched big brother the first couple of times it was on, but lost interest in it the third time it was on. First we had survivor, then big brother, then the amazing race. Races never have been my thing. I hope they don't put any more of those shows on.

I have never ever been and never will be fun of these stupid pefetic so called reality TV shows. I mean what the hell is the point? I really never understood how the hell can people be interested in all those shows, they're so simple and so uneventful. It's just an example how, unfortunately, media can creating something good and big from something that's so stupid and simple. But it's sucesfull because of media propaganda and pumping people's brains that it's the best thing since sliced bread and that everyone should watch it. Unfortunately, somehow, loads of people fall for it. Half of it is so fake anyway. I don't get it though, how can so many people believe, seems like they don't even think with their own brains and just decide to watch everything just because tabloid mexia tells them that it's good. Besides, as mentioned before, you're never gonna get anything interesting out of those shows anyway because it's all sencered. Take what happened this year at the big brother UK, there was a fight on the show, noone saw anything, or not much, show was taken off for an hour and a half while the situation calmed down. So, let's face it, if anything "interesting" like sex or fighting happens, not that I care or wanna see it anyway, but if anything like that happens you're not gonna see it. Also, remember, at least in the UK, even when the big brother is shown live, it's not totally live, there is a 20 minutes delay with what's actually happening so they can edit it in time in case something that they don't want us to see happens. What the hell is the big deal about big brother anyway, I mean you get x amount of people locked in the house, what the hell can happen, they can't even leave the damn house for something even remotely eventful or interesting to happen. This media crap is getting worse and worse and we're being pumped with more crap that in theory is so stupid, simple and cheap to produce, yet, unfortunately people, especially tenagers seems to love it because they tell them that it's good, can't people use their own brains these days and decide for them selvs what's good and what's not? I have no idea what simple life program is as we don't, or at least I don't think we have it here in the UK, but judjing by the rest of those stupid shows it's probablly a good reason that it's it has the word simple in it's title, because it's simple, cheap and just shouldn't be on our screens.

I personally don't even understand why they're called reality tv shows in the first place when they are so obviously unreal.
P.S. Did anyone see the comertial for that new fox series (forgot what the name was) where the Virgin empire guy is supposedly giving away his job? The thought sickens me... whether real or not.
